President’s Message

Dear our Colleague,

president-messageHuman rights are rights ingrained in all cultures as torchbearers of great aspirations of human beings. Whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status, we are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. All these rights are interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.

Universal human rights is often expressed and guaranteed by law, in order to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms of individuals or groups and guard social justice.

We hope to become torchbearers of Human Rights, Justice – Economic or otherwise, National and International Cooperation and Peaceful Co-existence by spreading awareness about these values and organizing various programs for the same like debates, discussions, summits, workshops and a string of day to day activities among ourselves. We believe that the real obstacle to Human Rights is lack of awareness about it and so we seek to correct it by awareness programs. We keep vigil all the time on the ongoing events in the society and also all around the world with a focus on its ramifications on us.

If any event comes to our attention which looks like a infringement of Human Rights, our well formed structure swings into action and takes stock of what needs to be done about it. These rights are also enshrined in our constitution which is pertaining to the life, liberty, equality and dignity of an individual. We extend our whole-hearted support to the organizations, law enforcing entities, army men, researchers and anyone from the public who comes to us seeking assistance for upholding their human rights and our main focus for development, promotion and protection of Human rights as whole.

Thanking you

Jintu Kumar, President, UNHRA
